Getting started

What is Heyweek?

Heyweek is an all-in-one workspace for project-based work — time tracking, projects, tasks and boards, client collaboration, and invoicing, all connected in one place.

Who is Heyweek for?

Freelancers, consultants, agencies, remote teams, and any project-based business that wants to track time, manage projects, and bill clients without juggling separate tools.

How do I get started?

Sign up, create a workspace, and follow the Quick Start Guide. To set up your first project end to end, see Your First Project.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Heyweek has apps for iOS and Android, in addition to the web app.

Roles and access

What roles can people have?

Every member of a workspace has a role:

- Owner — the person who created the workspace; full control. - Admin — manages members, settings, and most of the workspace. - User — a standard contributor who tracks time and manages projects and tasks. - Guest — limited, mostly read-only access, useful for clients and outside collaborators.

Kanban boards can additionally use their own access levels (Viewer, Editor, Administrator).

Can clients access their projects?

Yes. The client view gives clients a dedicated portal to follow the projects you share with them. See Client View.

Account and billing

How do I change my password?

Open your account settings, choose to change your password, enter your current and new password, and save.

How much does Heyweek cost? Is there a trial?

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel at any time, and your account stays active until the end of your current billing period.

Features and integrations

What can Heyweek do?

The main areas are time tracking, projects, kanban boards, tasks and to-dos, clients and the client view, teams and people, invoicing and finance, cashflow, messaging and activity, notes, files, calendar, absence, reports and dashboards, and an AI assistant.

Which integrations are available?

Heyweek connects with Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar, and supports bank connections in Europe and the UK for finance features. See Integrations.

Is Heyweek available in other languages?

Yes — Heyweek is available in multiple languages. You can set your preferred language in your settings.

Data and security

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and Heyweek is built to protect your information. If you have specific security or compliance questions, contact support.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export your data, including reports and invoices, in common formats such as CSV and PDF.

What browsers are supported?

Heyweek works best on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
