Give your clients a dedicated portal into a project — without handing over access to your workspace. Client View is a shareable, branded page where the people you work for can follow the work you choose to show them.
Overview
Client View is a secure portal you create for a project. You decide what appears on it, brand it as your own, and invite the client's people to view it. It keeps everyone looking at the same live picture, so you spend less time forwarding files and writing status emails — and clients only ever see what you've shared, nothing else from your workspace.
Key features
- Per-project portals — Create a portal for a project and share a link to it.
- Branding — Add your logo and customize the portal's appearance so it feels like your own.
- Configurable sections — Choose which sections appear on the portal so the client sees just what's relevant.
- Invited access — Invite specific people by email; only invited members can open the portal.
- Password protection — Optionally require a password to view the portal for an extra layer of security.
- Live view — The portal reflects your current work, so clients always see the latest — not an outdated attachment.
How it works
- Create a portal for a project. Open the project you want to share and create its Client View.
- Choose what to show. Pick the sections that should appear on the portal.
- Brand it. Add your logo and adjust the appearance so the portal matches your service.
- Protect it (optional). Turn on password protection if you want an extra check before anyone can view it.
- Invite the client. Add the client's people by email so they can open the portal.
IMPORTANT
Clients only see the portal you create and the sections you choose to show. The rest of your workspace — other clients, internal work, and anything you haven't shared — stays private.
Sharing securely
Sharing through Client View keeps you in control. Instead of emailing files and links that can be forwarded or go stale, you share inside a portal where access is limited to the people you invite, and optionally gated behind a password. You can update what's shown as the project evolves, and because the portal reflects your live work, clients always see the current version.
TIP
Add only the sections a client needs — a focused portal is easier for them to use and keeps the conversation on the work that matters.
Works with the rest of Heyweek
- Create a portal from any project you're delivering.
- Connect it to the client you're collaborating with.
- Make project work visible to the people the project is for.
Tips
- Brand the portal with your logo so it feels like a natural extension of your service.
- Turn on a password when a portal includes anything sensitive.
- Re-invite or remove members as the people you work with change.
- Keep the shared sections current so a portal stays a reliable "where are we?" answer.
