Bring the calendars you already use into Heyweek, so your meetings and events sit alongside the work you're tracking.

Overview

Heyweek's calendar connects to the external calendars you already rely on and shows your events inside Heyweek. Rather than switching between your project tool and your personal calendar, you see your schedule next to your work — which makes it easier to plan a realistic day. You connect a calendar once, choose which of your calendars to display, and your events appear in Heyweek.

Key features

  • Connect your calendars — Link your Google, Microsoft, or Apple calendar to Heyweek.
  • Choose what to show — Pick which of your connected calendars appear, so you see only the events that matter.
  • Your schedule in context — See your events in Heyweek alongside the work you're tracking.
  • Stays in sync — Your connected calendars keep the view current as your schedule changes.

Getting started

  1. Open the Calendar in Heyweek.
  2. Connect a calendar — Google, Microsoft, or Apple — through Integrations.
  3. Choose which of your calendars to display.
  4. Your events now appear in Heyweek, next to your work.
NOTE

The calendar shows events from the external calendars you connect. Which providers are available, and how you connect them, is covered on the Integrations page.

Connecting your calendars

Most people already live in a calendar — Google, Microsoft (Outlook), or Apple. Connect yours through Integrations and Heyweek brings those events in, so the meetings and commitments you schedule elsewhere show up next to your projects and time. You can connect more than one calendar and choose which ones to show, then disconnect any of them whenever you like.

TIP

Connect the calendar you actually plan in. Seeing your real commitments next to your tracked work makes it obvious when a week is overcommitted before it becomes a problem.

Works with the rest of Heyweek

Tips

  • Connect your main calendar first so your Heyweek view reflects your true availability.
  • Show only the calendars you need — a focused view is easier to scan.
  • Disconnect a calendar any time from Integrations if you no longer want its events in Heyweek.
